BIG4 - 4Sight
BIG4 was working on a campaign with Bellwether, they were looking for ways to engage holiday makers, build a sense of community, and encourage their audience to stay at predominantly their parks on their road trips.
My answer was a concept app 4Sight. It was designed to be used as a tool, allowing users to be engaged in the areas surrounding BIG4 holiday parks.
The apps opening menu screen.
The explore page features a zoomable map, filled with all the locations relevant to travellers.
As well as BIG4 sites, the explore map includes photo spots, rest stops, attractions and other features.
After selecting a park from the map there is some concise information, along with directions, and the ability to book from within the app.
If using the scrolling menu, the user can search through a list of nearby holiday parks, each coded to its relevant park type, holiday, premier etc.
Challenges can be found, each aiming to connect travellers, and help them explore the local attractions.
For a social aspect, users have the ability to upload images of their trip.
In a way of supporting the local economy, certain rewards can be redeemed through the app.
Partners of BIG4 can have their incentives displayed through the app.
BIG4 - Bounce with Bluey
Bluey was announced as a partner for BIG4. The brief was to create an engaging, interactive experience featuring the popular character Bluey.
I developed “Bounce with Bluey”. A scannable QR code led the user to an interactive augmented reality experience. Bluey told the kids all about safety around jumping pillows. This was done as a proof of concept, a finished product would ideally be fully animated.
For me, it was a great learning experience, trying out augmented reality for the first time.
Created using Adobe Illustrator, Substance Stager, and Aero.
